Ask the US Senate to change its mind and have a lame duck session confirmation hearing for US Attorney General nominee, Loretta Lynch. They should not wait for a new obstructionist Republican Senate to take over in January.
Why is this important?
There is no legitimate reason to wait for a confirmation hearing for Loretta Lynch until the Republican controlled senate takes its seat in January. The current Republican party has proven that it is only concerned about obstruction of the administration's agenda, regardless of the will of the people or what is best for the country. The President is also entitled to seat a cabinet of his choosing, unless a fair hearing shows the nominee to be unable to do the job or they have a lack of integrity. There is precious little evidence that any nominee of President Obama will receive a fair hearing by a Senate led by Mitch McConnell.
