To: Earl Bullard, Mayor, Latta, SC
Latta, SC Police Chief Fired for Being Gay
Mayor Bullard,
Personal likes and dislikes should not be the determination for one's job. For 20 plus years Crystal Moore has been an exemplary employee and an upstanding citizen of Latta, SC. We ask that you reconsider your public position and re-instate Ms. Moore.

Why is this important?
Tell Latta, South Carolina Mayor, Earl Bullard, to re-instate Police Chief Crystal Moore.
Mayor Bullard didn't like it that the Latta Police Chief is gay. He issued 7 reprimands in one day (the first ever in her 20+ year career) and when she refused to sign them he fired her. The mayor said he'd rather have a drunk Chief than a gay Chief. South Carolina has no protections for people against sexual orientation. It's time they did. In the meantime I think we need to send Mayor Bullard a message.
