Why is this important?
The Senate passed a strong comprehensive immigration reform bill. Immigration reform will strengthen our economy, keep families together, and offer a clear roadmap to citizenship for nearly 11 million tax-paying, aspiring Americans. As a white 10th generation American, I've had access to the American Dream that hard working undocumented youth and families have a right to as well . I want legislators to stand up for equality and justice for all by giving the 11 million aspiring Americans a fair opportunity to live the American dream.
