Legalization After College

Immigrants that have gone through 3-4 years of high school in the U.S. and 4 years of college (and obtained their bachelor's degree) should be granted U.S. Residency status.

Why is this important?

According to the Texas monthly, there are approximately 1.68 million undocumented immigrants residing in Texas. i was born in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas where there are over 200,000 undocumented immigrants that have fled from the dangers in Mexico in attempt to start a better life in the U.S. Many of these people, once they complete high school or college, they are unable to get a job based of their status in the U.S. Seeing these people work hard on a daily basis nonstop and then watching them leave back to Mexico is heartbreaking. But if they were to be granted the status based off of their hard work and effort and proof of wanting be a good asset to the country. If done like this, it would be a great common ground for both the Liberal and Conservative standpoints.
