Legalize, tax and regulate drugs, but ONLY those grown, processed and distributed withing the borders of the United States and their possessions.
Why is this important?
I've put this idea forward before, but here it is again: Legalize drugs, but only those grown, processed and distributed within our own borders. A domestic-only policy would cut off violent foreign drug lords, and bankrupt terrorists who finance their crimes with drug peddling. It would allow our law enforcement criminal justice systems to concentrate on real crimes, and would subject drugs to regulation and taxation. It would also create thousands upon thousands of jobs.
