Legalize Same-Sex Marriage in Illinois

It's very unfair that 2 people that really like each other and want to spend the rest of their life together, can't. This is uncivilized and unmerited. Others might ask why gay marriage should be legalized, but my question is this: why should other people be able to choose who marries who? Who would be affected if homosexual marriage was legalized? No one. Everyone believes there is one person who is out there to love us. Gay people feel the same way. It's crazy how messed up our country is, how many homophobic people are out there.

Why is this important?

Same-sex marriage is only legalized in 9 out of 50 states. All 50 states should legalize gay marriage. What effect will it have on the people who don't want it to happen? Nothing. Oh, because its against your religion? Well, I'm sorry, but if 2 people really like each tiger, the least if their worries is "going to hell." We've been forged into a supernova. How hot can it be?
