Why should it be easier to get a drivers license than getting a gun?
There should be aside from background checks a series of tests, a training period , a learners permit and an evaluation test. Paid by the potential gun owner. If they can afford $400 + for the weapon they should have to pay for the cost to determine if qualified to own it. The license should be have to be renewed semi-annually.
Why is this important?
Too many people have been killed or wounded for the current situation to continue.
