Why is this important?
All who live on earth are / will be affected by CO2 induced climate changes that alter weather patterns, intensifying drought, flooding, tornadoes, fires, crop failures, ocean acidification, loss of species. Our "business as usual" behavior ultimately will make earth uninhabitable for humans.
