Legislation needed to make health insurance companies disclose their denial rates

It should be mandatory that all health insurance companies have to disclose their denial rates and reasons at least once a year.

Why is this important?

There is no legislation on the books for any state except California or federal that requires health insurance companies to disclose their denial rates. Thirty percent of all health claims submitted in California are denied, imagine the nationwide ramifications. I deal with this every day in my business and make the health insurance companies pay the way they should not the way they want to.
