Proposed U.S. Constitutional Amendment:
The Congress by Joint Resolution may overturn a U.S. Supreme Court ruling provided that each house of Congress passes the Joint Resolution by a two-thirds vote and the President ratifies the Joint Resolution;
or in the alternative, that three fourths of the legislatures of the states ratify the Joint Resolution.

Why is this important?
The U.S. Supreme Court has exceeded its mandate under the U.S. Constitution to adjudicate--not create--legislation.
