If spending has to be reduced, It needs to start with our lawmaker's benefits first. They must give up a slice of what will make them comfortable in their old age just as they will force us to do.
Why is this important?
Being discussed now is that we the people will have to sacrifice our SS and Medicare benefits while our lawmakers enjoy superior health and retirement benefits at our expense. Time to discuss cutting these expensive lifetime benefits given to all the lawmakers no matter how dishonorably they have served.
