PLEASE pass a resolution immediately suspending Chapel Hill/Carrboro's sister-city relationship with Russian city Saratov, so that our fellow Americans will not suffer discrimination while in Russia.
Why is this important?
Violence aimed at athletes or anyone associated with the Sochi Olympics is unacceptable. The event is supposed to be INCLUSIVE and inspiring for all humankind. Gay folks should not be victimized.
