President Obama and the Environmental Protection Agency have a new proposal to reduce carbon emissions by 30 percent from 2005 to 2030.
The nation's worst polluters are now hard at work smearing this proposal, launching a propaganda campaign to convince the public that the EPA wants to hike taxes and kill jobs.
If we hope to keep this proposal alive, we need to tell the president and the EPA to stand by their pledge now!

It's a bold move from a president who's been promising environmentalist reform without really delivering. It's also exactly what our country, and our planet, needs to battle climate change and survive the coming centuries — so of course, Republicans and the fossil fuel industry hate it.
