Companies and wealthy contributors exert far too much influence on elected officials -- so much so that our representatives no longer represent we the people.
Let's make campaign donations illegal. Have congress determine a set amount of campaign budget for each legitimate candidate, and that's it.
Let's take our country back from lobbyists and blood-sucking corporations!
Why is this important?
Today candidates for either house of the congress cannot be competitive without huge amounts of cash from oligarchs who buy their allegiance.
We need to decide whether we want a truly representative government, or one that only represents the interests of major contributors.
Or America dies.
