Campaigning time for a political office via television, mail or telephone should be limited to two (2) months prior to an election and politicians should not be exempt from the do-not-call rule.
Why is this important?
The campaigning has lasted almost 2 years with constant ads on television and calls on our phones. This is an entire invasion of my privacy. I pay for my home, my tv, my satellite service and my phones. I have registered with the do-not-call list. Yet these things are dominated by constant campaigning that I do not care to listen to and do not want invading my life. There should be a limit of 2 months prior to election for campaigning and politician should not have access to our phone numbers.
