Congress should be paid for passing laws. They shouldn't be bribed into doing the exact opposite.
Why is this important?
I'm beyond sick of legislators taking corporate money to keep from doing their jobs. For too long now this has been a major issue in our government. And the problem is getting worse. The supreme court's recent decision to allow corporations to give unlimited amounts of money to lawmakers was absolutely inexcusable.
