Before a campaign ad can be sent out to public, it must be checked out by a bi-partisan group. If an ad goes public and the fact finding group finds this ad to be untruthful, the candidate that put out the ad will be fined $100,000. And after three strikes, that candidate is removed from the election.
Why is this important?
This petition is to insure that the voters receive the truth in campaign ads aired on the televsion and radio, and ads sent in the mail.
