Military-style assault rifles should be kept in an armory with strict access just like in the Armed Forces. Ban bump stocks and high capacity magazines. Start a national gun and magazine buyback program. Let's go, politicians.
Why is this important?
Machines designed to kill people are readily available in many places. Our gun safety laws are not protecting us. We need to lock up assault weapons in an armory and restrict their use.
