Longer single terms
The people shall elect congressmen/women to a single six year term without re-election.
The people shall elect senators to a single twelve year term without re-election.
The people shall elect a President and Vice President to a single eight year term without re-election.
Annually the people may remove any congressmen/woman, senator, vice president or president with a 75% vote of the electorate.
Why is this important?
Let's elect congressmen/women for six years, a senator for twelve and a president for eight. They cannot stand for reelection. In any election year they can be removed from office with a 75% vote.
Big money would have less influence, elected officials more lattitude to learn and shift their perspective and vote with accumulated wisdom (we hope).
