Lower Rx Prices!

Americans across the country are skipping doses, splitting pills, and skipping the pharmacy altogether because they cannot afford their prescriptions.

The burden is especially severe for seniors and people living on fixed incomes. And at a time when the cost of living continues to rise, the high price of prescription drugs is making an already difficult affordability crisis even worse, especially for working people, seniors, and patients living with chronic illnesses.

Americans have suffered for far too long. Every person deserves access to the healthcare they need to survive. Congress must take action to prioritize everyday people over corporations. Lowering the cost of prescription drugs would help Americans access essential medications and ease financial pressure on families already struggling with rising costs.

Why is this important?

The skyrocketing cost of prescription drugs is not happening by accident. It is the result of a broken system that has allowed drug companies to set prices with little accountability and even less relief for the patients who depend on their products.

No one should have to ration their medication to make rent or pay for groceries. And no person should have to go without treatment because the drug that could help them is priced out of reach.

It’s time for Congress to use its power to finally address this problem. Lowering the cost of Rx drugs is one meaningful step that Congress can take to help millions of Americans access essential medications and ease some of the financial pressure on families already struggling with rising costs.

Add your name and demand Congress take meaningful action to lower prescription drug costs.
