MA Pipeline Tariff

I ask you to withdraw your support for a tariff on our utility bills to reimburse Kinder Morgan for the cost of the Northeast Energy Direct pipeline project, or any other similar project. Kinder Morgan’s requirement of a reimbursement is a clear indication of the lack of verifiable economic viability of this project. It is wrong for government to ask the public to pay for a for-profit investment of a private corporation. I also urge you to use your influence to encourage the five other New England governors to do the same.
