Bernie Sanders received more than 64% of the votes in the Maine Democratic caucus. We ask that Maine's superdelegates represent the people of Maine and vote for Sanders at the Democratic National Convention.
Why is this important?
While the people of Maine have overwhelmingly presented their support for presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, those elected in the past and present to represent the people are failing to echo the voice of their constituents. We the people of Maine are frustrated with yet another demonstration of a broken system. We ask that the superdelegates of Maine represent the people of Maine. We currently have only one superdelegate who has pledged to support Bernie Sanders and we would like to thank Troy Jackson for doing so.
