Make a /kr/ board
A petition to move the korean based conversations to its own board.
Why is this important?
This petition is for a startup of a korean culture board.
This would benefit /mu/ users who absolutely hate /kpg/ due to the amount of non music related posts in threads and the fact that they feel like we bring no real value to their board.
This too would be great for /kpg/ members where we wouldn't be forced to talk about just kpop. We would be able to discuss idols in general without being off topic as well as shows and dramas, movies, locations, food, and many other korean related things.
We have a large community of over 150 people (this is evident due to a video being posted 18 hours ago and getting 225 views for just the /mu/ community) and despite not wanting to it would merge the /hr/ and /mu/ kpop community. Not only would we have a place to discuss the interest many of us have spent countless hours and had emotional investment in.
The major problem that affects our community as it is now is the fact that people cannot express and talk about the topics we enjoy such as male kpop, shows etc. Without being ridiculed and banned. Is it so wrong that we can not have our own culture board when the very website we frequent was created in a love for Japanese culture?
Thank you for your time and we really hope that you will consider this proposal
