Everyone has a Constitutional Right to vote; they should equally have the right to be able to make it to the polls to vote. The USA should make Election Day a National Holiday.
Why is this important?
Voter turnout in the United States is staggeringly low. In the 2012 Presidential Election there was a voter turnout of 57.5%. That means more than 40% of eligible voters did or could not vote. Any US citizen who wants to vote should be able to, as simple as that.
