Every elected official in Washington DC after serving just one full term becomes eligible for free healthcare for themselves and their dependents without coverage limits and without deductible and it's all paid for by us, the American taxpayer. They also are entitled to a full pension for life in the amount of their last salary, for life and again paid for by us, the American taxpayer. They regularly vote themselves pay increases without any oversight and behind closed doors to keep you, the public from finding out about it. It's time for this to stop.
Are you kidding me? Full salary for life after just one term?? Full healthcare without limits and without deductible... For life, after serving just one term? And never paying into the social security system??
And we, the honest hard working amarican taxpayer pays the bill for everything, only after serving out their first term...? Are you kidding me???
Why is this important?
This petition is about stopping one of the many excesses of our elected officials that they would rather keep out of the public discourse. They give themselves pay raises without any oversight. Never paying into the social security system and all of it at our taxpayers expense.
