Make Fitness Centers Essential
Allow fitness centers to reopen on a limited basis, while demonstrating safe CDC guidelines. The fitness industry should be considered essential as there is a long list of health benefits to maintaining physical and mental fitness. It is our responsibility to impart that many of our customers are actually patients extending beyond their assigned or prescribed physical therapy from previously existing conditions. Exercise routines interrupted to this magnitude has the potential to seriously deteriorate the quality of life people have worked so hard to achieve. Some already will never recover the level of health they achieved while maintaining a regular schedule on our variety of equipment for their individual and ever changing abilities.
Why is this important?
The list of conditions below are common in our clientele. Of these, many also seek the advice of our trainers where we can prevent injury by recognizing dangerous conditions and modify their exercises. An essential part of this ability to personalize training for our clients is that they depend on our ability to care for them, but most importantly, motivate them.
