Make Mental Health Care a Priority
Mental health care should be more of a priority in this country. People in crisis have no where to turn and as we have seen with the recent shootings they sometimes commit horrific violent acts. Additional gun laws are only feel-good measures and take away freedoms that millions of law abiding citizens enjoy. We demand a clear and comprehensive plan to make mental health care available to those in crisis.
Why is this important?
The mass shootings that have taken place this past year have shown that gun laws don't work and simply aren't the answer to solving this countries problem with mass shooters. Proper mental health care, available to everyone would do more to identify and care for people who need it.
