Make Nick Santino's death end Pit Bull bans!
In light of Nick Santino's tragic death, we ask that you immediately lift and/or cease to enforce all breed-specific bans and rules at all the of properties you manage. Restrictions should only be applied to dogs with observed, verified aggression.
Why is this important?
Soap actor Nick Santino took his own life after he succumbed to pressure from the management of his condo to euthanize his beloved and healthy pit bull mix, Rocco. Neighbors allege that Nick was harassed and ultimately "forced" by Ogden CAP Properties to kill Rocco for the sole reason that Rocco was part pit bull. Pit bulls are known as the clowns of the dog world and are not by nature aggressive. The greater tragedy is that Ogden CAP Properties still enforces breed-specific bans and restrictions at Nick Santino's and multiple other properties.Tell Ogden CAP Properties to base its policies on observed, verified behavior, not breed!
