Sunnyside Park has become a political football. Return it to the private sphere.
Why is this important?
NYC funding of a private park has tempted political opponents to drag the park's business into the public sphere, endangering a jewel the Sunnyside Gardens community has worked hard to preserve for over 80 years. It is far too precious for that. Cut off public funds. Operate the park with private money, as it always has been operated.
