make the environment a priority

Educate public about what we as individuals can do to improve our environment, air and water quality.
Put things in place to make it easier for us to change habits (I.e. Curbside recycling, trash cans in public places that allow us to recycle when not at home, TV ads that promote a healthy consciousness).

Why is this important?

Clean air and reuse-recycle need to be made priorities in this state.
Much of what needs to happen can first be addressed through education. The people of this state need to be taught and made aware of how their actions impact our air and our environment.
Cigarette butts with filters DO NOT decompose! Put them in their proper place! Don't drop them on the ground as litter. DON'T LITTER!
DON'T IDLE. As your car sits and idles it continues to spew unwanted fumes into our already polluted air.
have mixed use recycle through trash collection which includes glass! All glass!
Educate public about what can and can not be recycled!!!
