Prisoners serving unduly long drug sentences deserve the same treatment that people sentenced after November 1 will receive. Justice should not depend on the date somone was sentenced.
Why is this important?
Freeing some for a non-violent crime while punishing others for the same thing is morally wrong. It would not be fair if the Fair Sentencing Act is not retroactive. It's time to free those who have been wrongfully sentenced.
