Make Voting Cool: Social Media Voting Badges!

This initiative to help make voting and civic responsibility cool. The idea is that all major social media provide badges for:

Voter registration
There are online tools a user can use to verify current voter registration. Social media can provide a button to launch one of those tools and upon successful confirmation within 3 months of an election, the user gets the badge.

Voting
This badge should display when the user uploads a selfie picture of them with the "I Voted" sticker we all get. The photo would be loaded in the normal way people load photos for that social media application but tagged with an "I voted 2018" tag (or appropriate year). Then when anyone clicks on the "I voted" badge for that account, they see the actual photo of the person. These photos should be locked from being copied and would help people be assured someone isn't a fake Troll account too. It builds trust. It is self-administered, so low cost.

Other Civic Engagement?

Badge Display
The badges could be displayed on their page in a prominent position on their profile and as a small badge by each post.
