Let's get the senators and representatives on the record for or against drug testing of gun owners prior to purhase and on an annual basis after that. Responsible gun ownership should not include use of illicit drugs.If this is to be required for any government assistance then the same should be true for gun owners.
Why is this important?
The Tea Party has spent a lot of energy insisting that in order to collect unemployment, welfare or any other form of government assistance, that we need to drug test the recipents. We need put to a vote the concept of buying a weapon requires a clean drug test too.
