In an effort to eliminate children from accidentally firing a gun or putting weapons in the hands of unregistered adults I propose that each State mandate that firearms be locked in a gun safe and a trigger lock installed on every weapon.
Why is this important?
Mandating the safe storage of guns in homes will help prevent children and unregistered adults from accidentally firing and gaining access to them.
