Mandatory US Congressional Term Limits
We, the undersigned, do hereby support the introduction of mandatory term limits for all members of the United States Congress. Said limits shall be limited to two consecutive terms of office for both House and Senate members,
Why is this important?
The Congress of the United States no longer represent their constituency. Rather, they are beholden to their respective parties dogma and lobbying groups. The fractious nature of these allegiances lead to division and intransigence, at the sake of discouraging pragmatism and willingness to compromise for the betterment of society. Subsequently, American Citizens become the victims of Congress's complacency, disinterest and ineptitude.
In an effort to end the "good-ole-boys/girls" clubs in the US Congress, mandatory limits (two consecutive terms ) need to be enacted into law.
