Marco Rubio: Your Constituents Petition for Public Town Halls
We, the residents of the State of Florida, petition Senator Marco Rubio to hold multiple open forum, in-person town halls as promptly as possible in centralized locations across Florida to include the Panhandle, the Jacksonville area, Tampa Bay, Orlando, Southwest Florida and the Broward-Dade area. These meetings should be in venues of sufficient size during late afternoon or evening hours to maximize attendance.
Why is this important?
The citizens of Florida elected Marco Rubio to represent us in Congress. His voting record reflects that he consistently places the interests of big money donors over the best interest of his constituents. The purpose of the congressional recess is to address the concerns of constituents at a public forum, and Senator Rubio has consistently refused to do that.
