Currently Marijuana aka (Cannabis) is classified as a Class #1 drug that means it is as harmful as heroin, LSD, and ecstasy and has no medical benefits. Lets change the Classification for this plant; because that’s what it is, a plant, and bring common sense to the picture to differentiate the difference between drugs that are chemically made and those that are naturally grown from Earth. This petition is to change the current classification from Class I to Class III, IV or V due to the medical benefits of Cannabis. Changing the classification for Marijuana is just the first step!
