Mayor Bowser: Nurses Deserve Equal Pay
The Mayor has refused to offer the nurses equal pay for hard work. The Mayor has offered other District employees a 4-year raise but has refused to apply the same raises to the nurses. The District of Columbia Government nurses save lives and work hard to improve the quality of life of the District residents every day. The nurses service and manage the health care of low-income District residents at their homes and schools, patients with mental illnesses, ensure that District residents receive adequate support from Medicaid and more.
The District of Columbia residents benefit from the hard work of the nurses.
Tell Mayor Bowser to offer the nurses the same pay for hard work.
