Permit the children of Weymouth Youth Football and Cheer to use the baseball field adjacent to the WHS football field for warm-ups on game days.
Why is this important?
We, the families of Weymouth Youth Football and Cheerleading request permission to use the baseball field adjacent to the WHS turf field for game day warm-ups. To date, Mr. Slattery, a town employee, has denied all requests to permit our children a safe and easily accessible warm up space for their games. We hereby request that Mayor Kay use her authority to override the decision of Mr. Slattery and put the safety of our children before town politics.
