The healthcare law will go into effect in 2014 and the federal government will fully fund medicaid for low paid persons in our state for 3 years. After that they will only have to pay 10%. Please vote to accept medicaid funding from the federal government.
Why is this important?
Too many people in our state do not get access to healthcare except in the most expensive way, the emergency room. If they are unable to pay this hurts our hospitals and increases our insurance.
