A young man does not wake up one day and decide to kill children attending an elementary school.
We are asking President Obama and Congress to push for psychotropics and education on treatment available for the mentally ill.
Stop taking money from much needed mental health programs. Start demanding medications and education. If pharmaceutical companies can pay for television ads to push their product the same companies can pay to provide medication to the mentally ill and education for the public.
We are our brothers and sisters keeper.
Why is this important?
Many acts of violence may be prevented if medications were available and education provided to parents/teachers/clergy on mental illness.
