Contact your local Congressperson to help raise awareness for the reporting of and response to those with serious mental illness. A great majority of the most recent mass murders in the U.S. could have been prevented by the recognition of those with serious psychological afflictions. The stigma and dismissal surrounding this problem needs to change, otherwise we will be burying our loved ones at an already alarming rate.
Why is this important?
US Naval Shipyard, Newtown, Aurora, and numerous other mass murders could have been prevented. There needs to be a call for action by the powers that be identify and treat those with serious mental illness.
