We the citizen of the great state of Michigan believe that this Act endorses bigotry and discrimination. We believe that the United States Constitution already guarantees religious freedom and this act is designed to allow discrimination in the name of religion.

Why is this important?

The Religious Freedom Restoration Act states that a provider's " religious reasons" could prevent a person in need from receiving medical help, housing, or a driver's license. This Act is discriminatory and unkind. We the people of Michigan who have signed this petition do not support this Act.
