Michigan supports Detroit native son Keith Ellison for DNC chair!

Members of the Democratic National Committee,

we need a National Democratic Party chair with vision and passion. A leader who is proven to be effective in mobilizing neighborhood by neighborhood and getting out the vote. A leader with clear a strategy to take back the White House in 2020. A leader who can win Congress back. And a leader to provide crucial support to Michigan as we work to turn our house and senate back to blue.

Keith Ellison is that leader. Keith was born and grew up in Detroit: he understands the challenges we face in Michigan, and realizes that the Midwest is our key to winning the next presidential election. As the Chair of the House Progressive Caucus, he has led a fierce battle against the TPP. A passionate and effective campaigner, he has helped increase turnout in his Congressional district. And as the next DNC chair, he will lead the way in connecting our Party to all working families.

Keith has the practical, progressive vision and the grassroots expertise we need to turn out voters and rebuild the Party.
