We call upon the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors to stand up and prevent County Executive Abele's efforts to replace pro-veteran Trustees on the War Memorial Board of Trustees.
Why is this important?
County Executive Chris Abele is attempting to replace pro-veteran Trustees on the Milwaukee War memorial Board of Trustees. We are concerned that he is seeking to stack the board with Trustees who favor a Milwaukee Art Museum takeover of the War Memorial Center.
The Milwaukee County Board has a chance to prevent this takeover. We are calling on Supervisors to stand for veterans and prevent County Executive Abele from diluting veteran representation at the War Memorial.
