Minimum wage leads to poverty.
By paying minimum wage people are forced to get assistance from the government to feed their families.Going from one minimum wage job(MWJ) to another is not the answer.A second MWJ job keeps mothers away too long from their family.
Why is this important?
My petition is to help working people especially working mothers get a decent wage . People who work for a living deserve to profit from their work.They need a living wage.The Pope supports this mission amongst others.California supported the United Farm Workers to get a minimum wage thirty years ago and must now support the working people.
