Mishandling of Dillingham Airfield
We the people of the State of Hawaii and the users and tenants of Dillingham Airfield located on Oahu believe that the State has mismanaged Dillingham Airfield for far too long.
The DOT-A has not handled our complaints nor our recommendations in a timely manner. We are blocked from improving our facilities to meet the lack of facilities on the airport. We are blocked from conducting proper maintenance of our aircraft and current facilities. We are blocked from involvement in meaningful processes intended to mitigate problems on the airport.
We request that the Governor's Office look into the years of bias and animosity that prevents businesses on Dillingham Airfield from reaching their true potential to become economic powerhouses within the state.

Why is this important?
Dillingham Airfield is a haven for recreational air activities in the State of Hawaii. It is a special airport because it is non-towered, and readily allows general aviation, ultralight aircraft, gliders, parachuting operations, and military training to occur simultaneously. However, we the people of the State of Hawaii believe it is being mismanaged, and ask for special review, by the Governor's Office, of the DOT-A and all related offices in regards to the mistreatment of businesses and tenants on Dillingham Airfield .
