Consumers have a right to make healthy, responsible and informed choices about the food we eat - yet it's usually impossible to know whether our food contains GMOs. Please support our right to know what’s in our food, and co-sponsor HB 1396.
Why is this important?
While more research needs to be done on the full impact of GMOs, they are not without risk and consumers have a right to know what is in the food we buy.
HB 1396 in the Missouri House of Representatives would require that "all food and food products... sold in this state that are or contain genetically modified products shall be labeled indicating that they are or contain genetically modified products."
