Mitch McConnell cannot fairly represent the people due to his statements and conflicts of interest.
Why is this important?
Mitch McConnell MUST recuse from participation in the Trump Impeachment trial.
It is inappropriate for him to be in a position to influence who testifies and how the proceedings of the trial would take place.
He has publicly stated that he will not be fair in his Oath of Office duties.
He also has a conflict of interest where his wife is directly employed by, and, owes her job in the President’s Cabinet directly to Trump.
A U.S. Senator in this situation with any integrity would recuse oneself from participating in the trial of the President, as he cannot fairly speak for the people.
