Questions for a candidate debate (Presidential, House or Senate) should not be submitted to the candidates in advance. It gives them the chance to tweak the answers before the debate and memorize the answers like a script.
Why is this important?
Debate questions have been submitted in advance for years. Giving them time to tweak and memorize the 'answers' isn't a debate and we need to elect someone who can think on their feet.
